Brief Profile
Dr. Shivakumar V joined Sahyadri Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Shimoga as Consultant Medical Gastroenterology in March 2013. Studied MBBS in prestigeous Mysore Medical College, then did MD internal medicine in India's prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh. Completed DM in Gastroenterology from the same (PGI) institute then worked in Vikram Hospital, Mysore then shifted to SNH, Shimoga. Has undergone training in advanced endoscopy, difficult ERCP in Pune. Trained in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Meerut. Presently doing all advanced endoscopic procedure in SNH. He is the first persons to start advances endoscopic procedures (Dilatation, Stenting, ERCP – CBD stone extraction EVS) shimoga and surrounding three districts (Chithradurga, Davangere and Chikmangalore)
