Question 2

How does glioblastoma TTF treatment work?

Accepted Answer

The portable oncology cap delivers targeted electric fields to the brain, slowing tumor growth and improving survival.

Question 3

Is Tumor-Treating Fields therapy safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is a low toxicity cancer therapy with minimal side effects, mainly limited to skin irritation under the electrodes.

Question 4

How important is TTF device compliance?

Accepted Answer

High continuous TTF usage (18+ hours daily) is essential for maximum benefit and tumor control.

Question 5

Can TTF be used in chemotherapy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, combining TTF with chemotherapy can enhance effectiveness and extend survival.

Question 6

Is TTF therapy FDA approved?
