Dr. Kalpana Velaskar is Consultant & Head Transfusion Medicine at SRCC Children’s Hospital. She completed MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM hospital, Mumbai. She then completed her MD in Pathology from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM hospital Mumbai. She further pursued her training in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Scottish National Blood Transfusion Services, Dundee and at Academic Hospital Uppsala in Sweden.
