He completed his MBBS followed by MS (Orthopedic), DNB (orthopedic), & D-Ortho from the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, Mumbai.

Subsequently, he worked as an Assistant Professor before heading to the USA for higher subspecialty training in pediatric spinal surgeries.

Dr. Tawari has extensive experience in dealing with various spinal disorders including sports conditions, deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis, spinal trauma and infections at reputed national and international institutions.

Dr. Tawari specializes in performing minimally invasive spine surgeries and utilizes latest cutting-edge technology to perform safe and efficient spine surgeries

Dr. Tawari is very well published having more than 20 publications in national and international journals. He has written numerous book chapters on paediatric spinal problems.
