Dr. Avinash Desai has pursued MBBS from B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai, DCH from B.Y.L. Nair Hospital CPS and MD (Paediatrics) from B.Y.L. Nair Hospital. He is a trusted, focused and experienced Paediatrician having an experience of over 12 years serving a large number of patients. He is easy going by nature, with the ability to get along with colleagues and seniors. Dr. Avinash Desai has a special interest in managing critical newborns. Dr. Avinash Desai also undertakes training programs like IAP Neonatology fellowship program where each year 2 fellows are trained in Neonatology, Human lactation training program where post graduates and nurses are trained in basics of lactation management and 4) CGO lecture series which is a yearly certificate course for post graduates. He also has an administrative and leadership experience where he has been a Member of sepsis control committee, manages high risk OPDs, arranges Rota duties of resident doctors, supervises exams for fellowships held in the hospitals etc. He has worked on various research projects and has various publications to his credit.
