Dr Shaikh is a general and renal transplant surgeon. HE is an expert in robotic, laparoscopic and open procedures. His major area of interest is minimally invasive surgeries and he has performed thousands of laparoscopic procedures with excellent outcome. He is a pioneer in retroperitoneal donor nephrectomy in eastern India. He has performed thousands of retroperitoneal donor nephrectomy, laparoscopic hernia, cholesctectomy, adrenalectomy and AV Fistulas.
