His current preferences of approach lean more towards robotics, owing to higher quality visualisation and surgical precision.
Dr. Balasubramaniam has been at the forefront of advanced laparoscopic surgery for nearly 3 decades and has done over 25,000 cases, including laparoscopic biliary-enteric anastomoses, fundoplications, Whipple’s, total colectomy, axillary endoscopic neck surgery, retroperitoneoscopic urology and other advanced procedures.
