Brief Profile:
Dr. Binayak Deb graduated from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Orissa in 1984. After spending a year in cardiology at Nanavati Hospital Mumbai, he moved to Ireland and UK. He received interventional cardiology training at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin and Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He was awarded MRCP and Diploma cardiology from RCPI and University of London in 1992. After that he spent a year in Royal Brunei Hospital as Head Department, Cardiology to set up the acute cardiology and interventional services in 2002. Dr. Deb has been associated with Narayana Health - Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata from its inception in 2000.
