Brief Profile
Dr. Das did his MBBS from NRS Medical College and Hospital, Calcutta University in 1998. Afterwards, he went on to complete his MD from Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (IPGME&R, Kolkata) and topped the examination. He did his DM in cardiology from the same institution. He later pursued his training in Basic Cardiac Electrophysiology at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore and advanced EP training at Veteran General Hospital in Shanghai under Dr Yigang Li. He underwent hands-on high end device implantation (CRT-D) training at Elizabeth Krakenhaus Hospital, Essen, Germany under Dr Schmidtz. He is one of the few certified device specialists in India (Certified Cardiac Device Specialist CCDS from Heart Rhythm Society, USA). Dr Das has performed and is involved in training fellows in both coronary and Structural heart disease interventions, cardiac electrophysiology and device therapies
