Work Experience
Dr. Arup kumar Ghosh is a Consultant in adult cardiac Surgery in our institute. He has vast experience in different spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, he has been working in the specialty for last 20 years. He has 100% survival in coronary artery bypass surgery (99% cases are done off pump and multiple arterial grafts). He also has vast experience in Mitral-Tricuspid surgery and aortic valve replacements.
He did his training in Cardiothoracic surgery in United Kingdom (CCST). He has done fellowship in heart lung transplant and ventricular assist device in Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospita where he has the opportunity to work with Stalworths like Dr. Asgar Khaghani, Prof Giles Dreyfus. He has also completed one year fellowship in advanced cardiac surgery in Cambridge heart unit (Papworth Hospital). During this time he is trained in multiple redo surgeries, valvular repairs, Minimal access surgery, TAVI.
