Dr. Murali Babu is a senior consultant and CTVS surgeon at SS Narayana Heart Centre, Davengere. He did his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in 1989 and completed MS in General Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1995. He has done his M.Ch in Cardiovascular Surgery from Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore in 2001.
Dr Murali Babu has more than 20 years of experience in performing various types of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeries, both in adults and kids. He has performed over 7500 cardiovascular procedures and has actively assisted for around 3400 procedures. He has strong academic and research interest and has presented papers in national conferences.
