Dr. CP Srivastava is amongst the top cardiac surgeons in North India. With an experience of 35+ years, he has performed over 15,000 surgeries, ranging from the basic to advanced cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeries. Dr. Srivastava is an expert in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, high risk & complex re-do surgeries, total arterial revascularization, Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Aortic surgeries and sequential grafting.
He is counted amongst the rare few surgeons in Northern India regularly performing high risk re-do cardiac surgeries on patients considered in-operable or categorized high risk. He has presented & published 30+ papers in National and International Journals in Cardiovascular surgery and has lectured on cardiac surgery all over the country and abroad.
Not only a surgeon par excellence, he has also mentored & trained 30 students (cardiac surgeons) till date. Dr. Srivastava has held the coveted position of Sr. Professor & HOD - Dept. of Cardiac Surgery at the prestigious SMS Medical college, Jaipur apart from serving as its medical superintendent for a brief period. He has also served as the President of the Indian Association of cardio-vascular & thoracic surgeons.
