He has served as Professor of Cardiology & Incharge of Arrhythmia & Electrophysiology Services at the G. B. Pant Hospital (GIPMER), New Delhi, one of the largest & most prestigious cardiology departments in India. He has more than 50 publications in international journals & books.

Field of Expertise

• Performed more than 2500 cardiac ablations, several of them for complex arrhythmia like atrial tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, VPC, atrial fibrillation using latest technology like 3D Electroanatomic mapping
• Implanted more than 1000 cardiac devices, including pacemaker, ICD & CRT / CRT-D. He follows the latest techniques for these implantations like axillary puncture and septal lead placement as in pioneering institutions.
• Performed more than 5000 coronary and peripheral angioplasties, several of the complex.More than 1000 mitral valvuloplasties for rheumatic heart disease
• Proficient in ECG analysis, Echocardiography, Loop Recorder & Til Table Testing
