After completing his MBBS in General Medicine and DM in Cardiology, Pranab Deka has done seminar residency in Dept of Cardiology, VMMC, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi and PGIMBR and RML Hospital, New Delhi. He worked as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Heart and General Hospital, Jaipur Rajasthan from 2011 to 2013 before joining Narayana Hospital, Guwahati Assam. He has done over 7000 angiographies and over 3000 coronary angioplasty and more than 700 cardiac device implants. He has attended various international conferences and presented many national oral papers.
