Explaining COPD, its causes and treatments | Dr. Satish Gupta (Bengali)
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is essentially a disease of the lungs caused due to prolonged smoking. It affects the lung’s airway and the organ itself. There are some tell-tale symptoms of COPD like cough, sputum, wheezing and shortness of breath. There are certain things that can be taken care of in such a case. One should immediately quit smoking and visit their doctor for further consultation. The doctor will perform tests to determine the disease better and provide a route of medication.
