Prof. (Dr.) Amar Bhatnagar, Director – Surgical Oncology at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi has completed his M. Ch – Surgical Oncology from Madras University in 1986 and became the First M. Ch – Surgical Oncology of India. He has done completed his MS (General Surgery) from Delhi University in 1982.

He brings a vast experience of over 37 years post PG in Surgical Oncology and worked as Senior Consultant and Head of the department at various hospitals of national repute i.e. Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College-Delhi, AIIMS and Railway Cancer Institute, Varanasi etc.

He is a post graduate fellow of Surgical Oncology with Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. USA

He has been invited as Examiner of MCh Surgical Oncology at Dr MGR Medical University. Chennai, AIIMS. New Delhi and Gujrat University

He is a known faculty for M.B.B.S and Post Graduate students at S.J.H and V.M.M.C. He has done lot of Research and Thesis work during his tenure

He has many publications in national and international journals.
