Hope and a successful surgery for little Bidisha Saha in RN Tagore Cardiac Hospital, Kolkata
Patient Story Tagline:
Bidisha Saha was suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot (a hole in the heart with the tightening of the Lung's vessels) that was causing blockage of the oxygen flow in the body. The family was initially traveling to another hospital but as her condition became worse on the way, they came to RN Tagore Hospital instead. When she came in she was in very bad shape and was immediately taken into intensive care. After the tests were done the surgery was performed and post-op she was kept under observation due to the critical care required. However, she recovered well and was soon discharged from the hospital. Talking more about little Bidisha’s case are Dr. Biswajit Bandopadhyay – Head of Department and Senior Consultant, Paediatric Cardiology and Dr. Sukanta Kumar Behera – Senior Consultant Paediatric, Cardiac Surgery of Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata.
