Master of Physiotherapy
INTRODUCTION
Master of physiotherapy aims in advancing student’s ability of understanding, integration of theory and practical skill, critically evaluating the current practice, clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis and patient management skills. It helps the students to apply scientific principles in concept of health, illness and disability.
A two year fulltime program allows one to get specialized in musculoskeletal disorders and sports(MPT-MSS), Neurological and psychosomatic disorders(MPT-NPD), Cardio-Respiratory disorders(MPT-CRD)Community rehabilitation(MPT-Com) or Pediatrics(MPT-Paed). A very well established, advanced physiotherapy department assists students to excel in both theory and practical sessions. The department has pioneered in a number of significant rehabilitation services in multiple specialties including robotic surgeries. Upon successful completion of the course, one can pursue a career in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, Polyclinics, Academics, Research and private practice.
Eligibility:
One Must have completed Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognized university.
