Dr. Samarjit Khanikar did his MBBS and MS Othopaedics from Guwahati Medical College. He was one of the first from the region to successfully attain the one year fellowship of Arthroscopic Surgery and sports medicine under guidance of Dr. Debasis Chatterjee, one of the Pioneer Arthroscopic Surgeon of India and Secretary of Indian arthroscopic society.
