Dr. Bishnu Kumar Deka has completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Gauhati Medical College. He has completed his MCh program from the prestigious Sree Chitra Thirunal Institue of Medical College Science and Technology (under Govt.of India Science and Technology) Thiruvanthanapuram Kerela in 2002. Dr.Deka joined Narayana Health,RTIICS, Kolkata and later shifted to Guwahati Narayana Superspeciality Hospital from August 2013 to open a new chapter of Cardiac Surgery in North East India.
