Know your Pregnancy

Dear Parents to be,

Symptoms suggesting Pregnancy:

Following are the symptoms often suggest a pregnancy in general:

• Missed your period!

• Feeling nausea!

• Do you feel to pee more often than usual, especially in the night?

Yes! You might be on the way to motherhood.

Do not hesitate to consult your doctor for you and your child’s well being and let them confirm the good news for you.

A Negative Test Result:

A negative result may set you on the back foot for the time being but can bring back cheers again. Even after a negative test result, you are feeling that you are pregnant, just wait for a week and have a test done again and consult your doctor.

Congratulations:

Positive test results always bring smiles, and now it is high time for you to follow the instructions described and prescribed by your doctor.
It is natural to feel the happiness in your heart as you are now heading towards parenthood. You/Your loving partner is pregnant. No doubt, pregnancy is joyful not only for the parents to be but also for the entire family,

This natural process comes with some anxieties also, which can make you feel distressed.

So in this blog, I will describe the complaints and symptoms, which are quite common in pregnancy. As every woman has a different body language, so it is not at all necessary that every woman notices all of these symptoms.

  • Morning Sickness

You may feel sick by nauseous or by vomit. This is commonly known as morning sickness, but it may happen at any time. The symptoms of Morning Sickness arise, after around 4 to 6 weeks of pregnancy. If you are feeling Morning Sickness throughout the day and are unable to keep yourself up, consult your doctor.

  • Feeling Fatigued

It is very common to feel tired, or even exhausted, during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, though it may continue after that also; hormonal changes in your body at this juncture, make you feel tired, sick, emotional, and even upset sometimes.
Diet with adequate nutrition and keeping your body hydrated may detract these symptoms. An extra love, care, and affection of partner, family, and near and dears can just be wonderful.

  • Changes in Breast

It is also very natural to feel your breasts in the next XL size and feel tenderness as well as tingling in it, just as you felt before your periods. The nipples may stand out and change to a darkened shade. The veins may be more easily visible.
Don’t worry! These are very natural in pregnancy and will settle down on its own.

  • Changes in your food habits

During the first few weeks of pregnancy, you might notice that:

  1. You are not enjoying some foods or drinks, which are used to be your favourite one, be it a coffee or tea or your favourite fatty food.
  2. A strange taste settled in your mouth, which can be well described as Metallic by a mother to be.
  3. You find yourself in crave of new food.

You feel more sensitive in the sense of smell than usual, like the smell of food or cooking, etc.

As I said earlier that most of these symptoms will settle down on its own as the pregnancy advances. A nutritious diet, adequate hydration, exercises, and care are enough for all these symptoms and very rarely need treatment.
However, the following symptoms need urgent attention:

• Bleeding

• Stomach Pain

• Continue being sick (Vomiting)

If you have any of these symptoms, consult your doctor without any delay.

WISH YOU HAPPY PARENTING. Thank you.
