Dr. K.K. Bansal, Consultant, Neurosurgery, Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Jaipur was invited by Mr. Toshihiko Wakabayashi, Professor & Chairman at Department of Neurosurgery, Nagoya University. They were absorbed in significant contribution to operative techniques of brain diseases by Dr. K.K. Bansal. He was invited to give a guest lecture and share his experience with students and medical staff.
 
Dr. K.K. Bansal has received Guinness Book Award for having removed largest number of brain tumors in single sitting.
 
Dr. K.K. Bansal addressed and discussed on Neuroendoscopy. He also presented to the students of Neurosurgery department on how to treat “Neurocysticercosis” by the use of endoscopy. Neurocysticercosis is the commonest cause of adult onset of seizures or epilepsy. It is the most common parasitic infection of the brain or central nervous system worldwide and the most common cause of adult onset epilepsy. It is caused by the encysted larval stage of the “Pork Tapeworm” (Tenia solium).
 
Neurocysticercosis is more common in developing countries and is endemic in Mexico and Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, India, and East Asia. It has been widely reported in India, more so from the northern parts, and is one of the leading causes of pediatric epilepsy .
