Artificial Pancreas System : To Manage and Combat Diabetes.

Malla Reddy Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Hyderabad has launched the Artificial Pancreas System which is first of its kind to manage and combat the deadly disease “ Diabetes ”.
India has more diabetics than any other country in the world, according to the International Diabetes Foundation, although more recent data suggests that China has even more. The disease affects more than 50 million Indians – 7.1% of the nation’s adults and kills about 1 million Indians every year. The average age of onset is 34 years, which is very alarming. The high incidence is attributed to a combination of genetic susceptibility plus adoption of a high-calorie, low-activity lifestyle by India’s growing middle class. What saddens us more is that diabetes coupled with hypertension creates havoc in an individual’s most productive time of life, i.e., between 35 to 50 years.
The Artificial Pancreas System® (APS) is Natural and results in a new type of dynamic homeostasis. It mimics normal pancreatic insulin stimulation of the liver, it results in normalized carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, it stops the complications and the tissues heal themselves, it needs only be used 2 to 4 times a month to achieve these results. After approximately 6 months, some patients can be treated at home.

APS is brought to you by Trina Health’s Dr Ford Gilbert after 24 years of research and product development, Dr Gilbert has conducted 18 years of intensive research out of which 12 years with Type II diabetes in leading universities with consistent outcomes. Tight glucose control does not stop complications because tight control does not provide proper metabolism where as Artificial Pancreas restores proper resting metabolism the core problem of both Type I and Type II Diabetes . APS addresses the core problem, everything about diabetes improves. If APS did not treat every complication (a panacea) then we would know APS was not treating the core problem effectively.

Speaking on the occasion Sudhaker Jadhav, Facility Director, Naryana Multispeciality Hospital
, Hyderabad said that “as a part of our quest to bring new and innovative healthcare delivery system to the masses at affordable prices, we are partnering with Dr Ford to give this little piece of miracle which might be turning out to be boon for those millions of patients of diabetes who are suffering with co morbid ailments like nephropathy, retinopathy and coronary artery disease ”
On this occasion Dr G J D Rao, Senior Physcian and Diabetologist said that off late he has been seeing at least 2 to 3 new diabetic patients per day, this itself speaks about the magnitude of the problem where every day 2 to 3 patients in my OPD are getting detected, just imagine the millions of diabetics who are totally unaware about their status. He seconded that APS is going to be the future and will mark a revolution in the treatment of diabetes management.
Summary of Treatment Outcomes
·         Heart Disease : Patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy will reverse
·         Stroke & High Blood Pressure: Virtually all patients will reduce hypertension
·         Blindness: Retinal laser therapy will stop within 5 months
·         Kidney Disease : Patients with as little as 33% function will never progress to dialysis
·         Amputations: Virtually all amputations which are not imminent can be avoided
·         Nervous System Diseases: Patients will reverse to approximately 5 years prior
·         Other: Fatigue, sleeping disorders , diabetes dementia, sexual dysfunction, dental problems, poor wound healing, lack of energy, and sudden loss of consciousness will be treated.
All of these diabetes complications are effectively and safely treated with APS because Artificial Pancreas System ® addresses the core problem, “Improper Resting Metabolism.”
