Her expertise are epilepsy and developmental problems in children. She completed her M.B.B.S and M.D (Pediatrics) from King George Medical University, Lucknow and was awarded a Gold medal for being the best PG student in Pediatrics.
She is currently working as Associate Consultant - Pediatric Neurologist at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre, Narayana Health City- Bangalore. Prior to this, she has worked as a fellow in Pediatric Neurology at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre and B.J Wadia children Hospital, Mumbai. She was also awarded the prestigious Bill Marshall Scholarship to pursue a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London, UK – one of the best centers for child healthcare and research globally. During her time there she worked with world renowned pediatric neurologists and learnt state-of-the-art management skills and procedures in neurology.
Her aim is to provide best standards of care to all children with neurological disabilities and build a center of excellence in childhood epilepsy surgeries in India. Her dream is to ensure that children with neurological disabilities have equal opportunities at par with their peers so that they can integrate with and contribute meaningfully to the society.
