Dr Akshata Nayak U had completed her MBBS and MD from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She completed her Fellowship in Hemato-oncology from the Department of Hematology from Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre, Narayana Health City, Bangalore. She also completed her DM in Clinical Hematology from the Institute Of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata,(WBUHS). She worked as a Senior Resident and later as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. She worked as a Consultant Hematologist at BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bangalore. She also worked as a Consultant Hematologist at AJ Hospital and Research Centre, Mangalore. Currently, she is working as a Consultant Hemato Oncologist at Narayana Health, Bangalore.
