Requirements for Admission

Welcome to NH. We are pleased at the interest you have shown at pursuing a course at our Institution. Here below we have attempted to take you through the admission procedure that is followed at NH.

  • Any candidate wishing to apply for any of our courses are required to satisfy the conditions of eligibility laid down by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, INC , KNC or the Paramedical Board. Where as for some courses we have an entrance test and interviews, for yet others we have admission on the basis of students academic records & all round competence.
  • The candidate is strictly advised to check the admission schedule specified in the IMPORTANT DATES as & when mentioned on the websitewww.nhcolleges.org .
  • No fee is charged for the Entrance exam or the Application form.
  • The candidates are requested to check the Eligibility Criteria for the course he/she wishes to apply for prior to sending in the application.
  • In case any candidate is found to have furnished false information/false certificates/found to have withheld/concealed information in his/her Application Form, he/she shall be debarred from appearing for the entrance test/admission to the course.
  • Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but are awaiting the results can still submit their application form, but will be required to send in details of their results as soon as the same is received.
  • Canvassing of any kind will disqualify the candidate. The decision of the Admission Committee is final in this regard. All admissions are provisional and subject to eligibility confirmation by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

Procedure for Admissions (With Entrance Test & Interview)

Admission is based on three components ( For those courses that require Entrance exam). The received applications are scrutinized and students who are eligible will be called for the entrance test and interview.

  • The Entrance Test is meant to assess the candidates’ suitability for the program to which he/she is seeking admission.
  • No request for postponement of Entrance Test will be entertained under any circumstances.
  • The question papers for the Entrance Test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only 11th & 12th (+2) Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English & General Knowledge.
  • If any candidate is found guilty of any breach of rules or guilty of using unfair means during the test, he/she will be liable to be punished.
  • The Entrance Test will be followed by an Interview.
  • Results of the test and interview will be displayed on the Notice Board on the same day. A Waiting List, in order of merit, will be put up at the same time.
  • Once the results of the entrance test and interview are announced, Candidate will be required to pay the Registration Fee and submit original documents to the college if willing to take up the seat.
  • If for unavoidable reasons, it is not possible to submit the original certificates at the time of admission, they should be submitted as soon as possible thereafter, but not later than two weeks after the commencement of the academic year, failing which admission shall be cancelled. The original certificates will be retained by the College till the time the student finishes her/his course or leaves the College.
  • Activation of Waiting List -Depending on availability of seats, admissions from the applicants on the Waiting List will be made after the first list has been exhausted. Every effort will be made to inform applicants individually.
  • On admission, candidates are required to submit all original certificates on the same day and pay the Registration fee.
  • The candidates must submit the following original documents along with one attested photocopy of each at the time of taking admission -
    • Date of Birth certificate.
    • Secondary School or equivalent Examination Certificate.
    • Original Mark-sheets issued by the Board / University.
    • Migration Certificate students outside of Karnataka.
    • Transfer Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended.
    • 8 passport size photographs & 4 stamp size photographs.
    • Marksheet of Degree courses.
    • Provisional/Degree Certificate
    • Last two are for Post Graduate course applicants only.
  • College will commence in II week of September.

All disputes pertaining to the conduct of Entrance Test and admissions shall fall within the jurisdiction of Bangalore only.

Procedure for Admissions (Without Entrance Test & Interview)

  • Download application from the website www.nhcolleges.org or collect the same from the college office.
  • Send in the completed application with copies of the relevant documents as mentioned below:
    • Date of Birth certificate.
    • Secondary School or equivalent Examination Certificate.
    • Original Mark-sheets issued by the Board / University.
    • Migration Certificate students outside of Karnataka.
    • Transfer Certificate from the Head of Institution last attended.
    • 8 passport size photographs & 4 stamp size photographs.
    • Marksheet of Degree courses.
    • Provisional /Degree Certificate
    • Last two are for Post Graduate course applicants only.
  • On receipt of Provisional Admission letter, send in a DD for registration fee amount as mentioned in the letter.
  • College will commence in II week of September.

All disputes pertaining to the conduct of Entrance Test and admissions shall fall within the jurisdiction of Bangalore only.
